In the valley of old where the weather never changes and the people who live there don’t interact, young Kay grows frustrated, wanting to get to know more but is shamed by their father not knowing the life they weere protected from to get this one. Seeking knowledge about themself, their mysteriously unconscious mother, and the outside world Kay runs away toward the river. Before Kay’s friend arrives for their usual talks the ancients intervene and thrust Karpos into the air.
