With a burden on his chest he holds to himself, Criss is a quiet guy who refuses to bond with anyone and just wants to be alone. After an unlucky day at school he is now forced to stay with his Grandmother over the summer. With things not going to his planning a lot of people are insisting on this "friendship" thing and he is not all for it.
