Siro is a big-hearted young man who, after the death of his parents, lives with his grandmother Mai in the remote village of Tomorokoshi. He possesses prodigious strength and seems quite satisfied with his life, until he dreams of the goddess Honobi, the queen of the Kins thicket, a forest of endless dimensions that lies to the south of the village and is part of the history of the place. Siro decides to go into the thicket with the idea of solving his dreams...
