Sugimoto Soichiro, who was undergone a genetic mutation procedure known as "insertion" now has to face this new reality, adapt to his ability, acknowledge the past and oppose the foes after his power. Scientist Natsuki Tamura who worked on the Insertion project wants Soi back to take samples of his "perfect" DNA and make more subjects for what he calls the "Rebirth".
