Brittney Barret is always relying on the voices in her head to guide her through her thoughts and filter what should be said. These voices can make her change her perceptions as she goes through the trials of middle school. The world is difficult to understand, and Britt is going to learn that the hard way, as that is the only way she seems ot learn anything.
