In a world of darkness, purely lit by the eery glow of the gems that rule the world, there are only few that have enough power in their hands to survive. Static, stuck between trying to escape his abusive boss, wanting to erase his past life, and just avoid getting stabbed on the way home to his crappy apartment in a city called Grim, he comes face to face with a stranger, crashing through the roof of the bar he works at.
