Violet takes a leap and runs away to the home of her estranged aunt Kalina. There she meets her cousin Connor and their best friend Hailey, who Violet longs to be close to but tries desperately to keep away. But only together can they unravel the trauma that has defined all of their lives - starting with what happened between Violet’s mother and Aunty Kalina.
