What if we lived in our world, but the undead has always been a part of us? There was never a life before the apocalypse, so we humans learned to survive in our on ways for years, never dreaming for something better. We simply didn't know how. The only humanity changing factor was those who were immune to the never ending undead - through out the years it made a gap between those who needed to survive and those who didn't. Could that be the real reason which tears humanity apart..?
