In a small village called Nornal lived a group of children known as Hybrids, who are hated among the rest of the village. The king, Nornal, is the reason for this hatred so the Hybrid children are trying to find a way to kill him. Amethyst discovers the book that could help them defeat the king but they get into battle before they could use it.
