Ray Duval is stuck in a dead end job reliving the same day over and over again. No matter how hard he tries, he feels stuck in his poor circumstances with no hope in sight. One day, Ray is mugged at gunpoint and gets fatally shot. As Ray bleeds out, a demon offers him a deal. Either offer up his body to be possessed by the demon to get wounds magically healed, or die. Ray, wanting to live, takes his offer. Now a demon Host himself, Ray has to hide his demon from a world that wants him dead.
