Maevis is bored with her life. This should come as no surprise, though, because her life is incredibly boring. Unbeknownst to her, however, many things in the world are happening that are not boring at all, and when she makes a wish to be part of them, it sparks a chain of events that might just have her yearning for boredom once again. This is a fantasy story after all... It has to start with the chosen one.
