Tam (he/him) is a young half-orc from the deep West, on a journey away from his clan's traditions to become a mage, something frowned-upon in Orcish society. He travels for miles in search of his lifelong hero, Fenro of the Elves (they/them), in the hopes that they will take him on as their apprentice. After receiving an invitation to meet with them, Tam is nervous as to how Fenro will react, and what they will expect of him...
