A young man gets transformed abruptly into an alien humanoid and is teleported by an unknown mystical force to a magical late medieval world. Stranded with no knowledge of why he is here, he is challenged to either find a way home or start a new life. Driven by a disposition to never give less than his all, he tackles this existential crisis by answering a threat of a legendary sorcerer that plans to advance civilization, through acts of war and domination with steel and electricity.
