Harper Wyatt flees from his horrible past to join the army. where he meets Muerte Andrez, his lieutenant colonel. over the years that they have known eachother the two men notice the underlying tension lingering beneath the surface, but their pasts threaten to jeopardize this discovery. during a cult task the two men were assigned too it goes terribly wrong ending with both of the men injured and barely making it out in one piece. this leaves harper to realize he was in fear of losing muerte.
