Jaime wasn’t entirely sure why he had saved Lovette Halloway from falling to her death, considering the dire consequences of changing one’s fate. But, he had an idea of how to get them both out of this mess; as long as she followed his plan perfectly, everything could go back to the way it was. To his dismay, however, Jaime would soon discover that the only skill Lovette possessed was her ability to make everything go horribly, horribly wrong.
