Japanese haiku, quaint, three-line poems, have been a cherished tradition. They may appear simplistic in capturing the brief, mundane moments of life, but there's depth and poignancy. Here is my attempt to write original English haiku for your enjoyment. As with traditional Japanese haiku, readers are invited to participate by reflecting on their own shared experience to understand, interpret, and enjoy; the humorous, the melancholy -- the extraordinary of the ordinary captured here.
