Chrysanthemum is an unhappy young woman working at a bike repair shop in a small mountain town and has no family left besides a deadbeat father who she hasn’t talked to in years. Louis is a fallen angel trying to find her way in the world after being left on earth by her mother—the queen—for befriending Chrys as children.
