In a world where demonic parasites exists, survival is never guaranteed. Mortems are physical, flesh eating creatures that infect corpses as their vessels, most people die when they encounter one and only a few survives or adapts, and those few survivors mutate, gaining dangerous abilities. And there exists the “Grave Watchers” who hunts these demonic parasites and protect humanity.
