Nem Kwon is an illegitimate child, brought into a high class family in which he has no real place. With a cushion of wealth and no responsibilities, he has the freedom to start a career as a child actor. Initially talented and beloved, years later, he witnesses the shallowness of both high and low society and falls into a deep solitude, losing faith in himself and the world around him.
