In the year 2031, one half of the population of planet earth disappears for exactly eighteen months. Whilst the remainder of humans scramble to find answers, turning to theories of extraterrestrials or gods, three young women (and their cat) set out on a calamitous road trip across the maelstrom of a post-crisis United States to find the truth. This story is about the people who were left behind...and what happens after those who vanish finally return.
