For Christmas I was gifted a grow-your-own mushroom kit, which was pretty awesome and scary at the same time... For weeks I watched as my little spores started as nubs, spritzing twice a day in a little sealed bag, with only an X slit out for air! Keeping it moist, it wondrously blossomed so quickly into Speckled chestnut mushrooms! It was gross and beautiful, and this week was harvest week!
