In a world where magic exists, you have to go to school to control it. At the top school, Ranks Academy, the best student gets to make one final wish before graduating. The problem? Haruki has no magic. Desperate to stay for unknown reasons, he stumbles upon an old sword and takes it. Suddenly he can use magic — turns out there's a ghost trapped inside. To keep the facade going, the ghost strikes a deal: Haru gets the power, the ghost gets the wish. Simple enough. Right?
