Genko rescues an abandoned axolotl (Xilo) from a contaminated river, and a series of situations happen around these two. After finding out how problematic Xilo is, Genko won't stop looking for a antidote to recover the health of the river to take Xilo back home, treating him like an assistant-pet in the process.
