In 2008, a supernatural rift unleashes a demon invasion on Earth. Among them is a Yokai who despises his own kind and vows to destroy Hell itself. Unable to do it alone, he soul-links with Cassie, a lonely emo girl. Together, bound by hatred and fury, they must fight some of Hell's strongest, to bring its destruction—and save humanity from total annihilation.
