Hermes is a Messenger God, of many things — swiftness, merchants, travellers, thieves, cunning, athletes. Flitting between Zeus and Hades, he definitely doesn't have time for much else. Like romance — and commitment. Crocus is an artist, of many trades — pottery, sculpting, floristry, painting, embroidery, weaving. He's fled from his past. He doesn't want to look back.
