Kael Veyrin carries corpses out of a tower conquered by warriors far stronger than him—until his own guild uses him as bait and leaves him to die. He awakens on Floor 0, where the names, memories, and techniques of fallen challengers are preserved. Here, power must be earned: to inherit a technique, he must fulfill its owner’s dying regret.
