Cassandra, a teenage girl living in the inner city, witnesses horrible acts of violence every day. On her 15th birthday, she is given a protective charm by her great grandmother. Although the gift is beautiful, Cassandra begins to suspect that the charm may bring forth ancient, supernatual powers, including an insatiable need to serve harsh justice to evil doers.
