A family from Africa takes their annual trip to the U.S. and gets caught up in the political mayhem. They face censorship, climate grief, gender battles, consumption overload, sticker shock — and Socks in Crocs. But the chaos doesn’t stay stateside. U.S. politics follow them home to Kenya, where decisions made 7,000 miles away turn their lives upside down. A sharp, funny, and unsettling look at a world more connected — and conflicted — than ever.
