Fern is adjusting to life in a new city. Having recently moved to be near her two best friends, Kate and Robin, and to start a new season away from where she grew up, Fern now works at the local library, makes progress on her novel-in-the-making in her spare moments, and hopes that in time, this new city will actually start to feel like "home".
