In a world that is populated by people with abilities called Nala, a woman named Nikumu Kirau is born as a minority- one without Nala. She gets by with her life in the small town of Plaridel, despite the discrimination. One day, she is forced to choose between a dilemma when her father shows up with a terrible curse. She strives hard despite having no Nala and faces many difficulties in the hopes to find the cure for her father.
