Michael has been gone for centuries. 784 years to be exact. Somewhere in the middle of that time the world ended. A highly contagious disease forced humanity to the brink of extinction. The afflicted- no longer considered human- are the majority, populating cities and hunting those remaining. Michael returns to a world he doesn’t recognize, with a job he can’t stomach.
