It's 1975, and Joel 'Chevelle' Ramirez is a 27 year old bounty hunter and part-time monster hunter just trying to make a quick buck. One day, he gets mortally wounded during a job by a target. Of course, his savior ends up being a nature-loving monster! Chevelle, being the honorable person he is, decides to help the beast with... Whatever he does around the forest. Also, Chevy owes a bunch of money to a local crime syndicate who won't stop looking until they find him.
