On their 15th birthday, twins Timmy and June Orman have an argument with their parents. In frustration, they make a wish, blowing out a candle. They wake up 20 years in the past, finding themselves in a classroom with their teenage parents. Navigating this strange world, they discover their parents were also once reckless and free-spirited, with dreams and struggles of their own. As they seek a way back to their time, Timmy and June learn lessons about the complexities of growing up.
