Growing up, I was always told who I was supposed to be. Everyone in Ever After was told who they were destined to be, Princesses, mermaids, witches and frogs… We all were bound to a story that our ancestors had carried out for countless generations before. In a world where your whole life is laid out in front of you, it's hard to find hope, as you watch those around you fall into place. Few dare to rebel... To those of us that don't have a Happily Ever After, this certainty is a curse.
