Deep in the dark of night, a mother tells her children a story, a story of their history, of love and loss, of life and death, of the fall of the monarchy and the rise of tyranny. And, as the storm abates, the night slips from the sky, and her foals fall asleep, she watches on with joy, for perhaps these two, fed on the milk of her stories, will reinstate the monarchy and order again.
