Akio, a young trans boy, runs into a mysterious gentleman who offers him escape. However, this comes at a cost. Akio, finding himself with a mask stuck to his face, is suddenly thrust into the hidden world of Ukiyo, a place he once thought he knew. He makes friends and foes alike, who all possess this strange ability known as tamashii, the manifestation of one’s soul.
