Mason doesn't find a lot of potential in herself. She thinks she's quite a loser. On a train she had this weird dream of a gem bug that whispered to her and finally told her she's needed. She's freaked out and thinks it was a normal dream or a nightmare. Little does she know she's gonna be dropped off at a mythical place, a place that thinks she has the potential, and a place that thinks she's worthy of living.
