War, famine, slavery, magic... The world had truly become a dangerous place after WWIII. Only those with brown hair and grey eyes were allowed to live a decent life; however, only 5% of the population was born with these characteristics. Lucina Evergarden, a woman born with only minor genetic mutations, is taken by the rulers of the West Kingdom where she learns just how terrible the world can be and how hard it is to trust after being taken away from everything you once loved.
