After a devastating culture war wipes out the earth in 2035, new societies emerge: one of those being Dispatera. In 2050, a civil war breaks out between the rich & the poor, dividing the country in half. During this war, a highly addictive drug called Terrabane is discovered. 30 years later, Keiko and Seth are racing against time—and each other—to figure out the secrets of Dispatera.
