During Zeke's space travels, he "accidentally" crashes down on Earth. On Earth, he sees a bus crash. While the bus driver gets out safely a girl is trapped inside unconscious. Despite not wanting to interrupt human life, Zeke decides to save the girl. The girl being the struggling writer Ellie, who has yet to succeed in her writing career and therefore works multiple part-time jobs in order to eat and sleep.
