Deray belongs to the Tribe of Druids - known as 'Beast-Hunters'. Being a young novice hunter, he doesn't quite measure up and his clan doesn't count on him. Deray dreams of being a great hunter, but his dream is disrupted when 'Midnight-The Beast' crosses his path.
