During the Roman conquests, Aquila, a renowned general who is leading his army through Celtic territories, encounters a fierce, tattooed boy. Intrigued by the boy's mysterious aura, Aquila learns that he has no name and possesses the unique ability to hear the whispers of spirits from far-off lands. His reputation is not only shaken by the presence of the young boy but also by that of an equally mysterious woman who claims to be sent by celestial beings from a proto-Nordic village.
