In a town that is led by "The Coven" ( a group of really powerful witches who banished a demon who almost destroyed their world,) a girl called Jules Weaver (the great-grandaughter of the founding member of "The Coven") helps her best friend, Tara Lorraine (a low-class witch, with questionable magic skills) become the girlfriend of a boy with a powerful family, so she doesn't get sacrificed by "The Coven" in a ritual meant to keep the demon who almost destroyed the town.
