After a tragic incident, the seventh graders Kenneth Carter Jr. and Annie G. Jackson run away from home. Fearing the police, and dealing with Kenneth's new telekinetic power, the teenagers head to Canada, being fugitives on the run, they have to keep a really low profile to not get busted. Each stop on their journey brings new friends and new challenges.
