Japan, Bakumatsu period. Disgraced samurai Hitoshi lived a secluded life and through unfortunate circumstances was thrown into conflict leading to death. Through supernatural means the Ronin became an undead warrior and was thrown into battle with a dark Shogun who was raising an army of monsters.
