After turning during the fall of the Pharaoh, Rex Auri the vampire has been in isolation from humans until now. Ignorant to the new age of the human world, Auri and his "tour guide" Kitska travel in their everyday tasks, while the vampire tries to remember why he hated humans in the first place.
