Ferrah, a shapeshifter usually taking the form of a wolf, is separated from her friends in the wilds of Canada. She is thrust into an unexpected adventure when she's taken in by a pack of wolves and becomes a bit too friendly with one of them. As she becomes accustomed to this lifestyle, one of her old friends finds out where she's been, and he does not approve. Through the drama of it all, an ancient evil lurks in the shadows, intent on making the shapeshifters' lives miserable.
