Anja comes from an abusive family, who makes her cook and clean. She's never allowed to speak a word, or it results in being whipped. One night as she is sleeping, she is taken away by a feathery beast and to a dark worn down castle. It locks her in a room where the only source of light is the moon. She has but one companion, a white tiger named Ada. There is a book in the room that decides whether she will live or not, she must never leave the room or there will be consequences.
