Jude has little interest in anything, believing her life on Earth has no meaning. That is until she decides to help people from a parallel world kill a supposed tyrant, catapulting her into the politics of a society she knows nothing about. In her quest to stave off her nihilism, however, she uncovers disturbing connections between her and this world that were intricately covered up.
