18,000 years ago, a worldwide phenomenon caused portals to appear on Earth unleashing monsters unto it. The people had to evolve into a new era. To help ease the transition, a group of creatures banded together and created the Creatures of Earth. This effort made the foundation for what the world is today. Young Nico enters the world eager to do her part.
